Shawn Walker is a Certified Motivational Coach, who has developed himself as a Professional Speaker. He has always had a strong passion for helping individuals, especially the youth. Mainly in part because he has learned a lot of life lesson on his journey to becoming an adult. He can speak on a variety of subjects on Personnel Development. Some examples are early Parenthood, Substance Abuse, Strategic Planning, and Leadership. He plans to create a movement to raise awareness in the youth, he believes by educating them will help minimize some of the peer pressure that they struggle with. He was a previous Assistant Football Coach for the Fort Lauderdale Barracudas and later The Parkland Rangers. Before the games Shawn would get the teams motivated by doing various chants and motivational speeches. He became a very influential figure amongst the parents and kids he coached. Those chants and speeches helped turn around a struggling team the Fort Lauderdale Barracudas and lead another to become Champions in their first season in Pop Warner Football the Parkland Rangers. He also worked at Ascension Peace Day Care Center where he assisted with Coordinating events and was Staff Coordinator. During his life he has had the opportunity to meet many individuals that he has been able to encourage youth and adults. He has been invited to different schools, group homes, community events and churches to speak about his different life experiences. Through his speeches, Shawn wants to inspire individuals to become mindful of their true abilities to overcome any obstacle with his recipe for success called The P.I.E. which stands for Planning, Implementing, and Executing. 

He was able to coach two teenagers in fulfilling their dream in becoming aspiring rap artists. The group was known as “Center of Attention”. With the Coaching of Shawn, they were able to develop many skills and learn about the Music Industry. Some of the skills they learned was Contracts, Labeling, Production, Marketing and Distribution. They also perform in many events and featured in different newspaper articles. Some of the events included the Sistrunk Festival, The Broward County Youth Fair Talent Show (Won 1st Place), The Broward County Library Summer Youth Program (Sponsored by Sun Sentinel), and The City of Lauderdale Lakes Martin Luther King Celebration. They eventually landed a major record deal.

 Shawn has also served as the President of the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) for Park Lakes Elementary School. He was a part of the PTO because he had the desire to encourage the students and their families to a path of educational success. He also wanted to inform parents that their involvement in their children’s education was the Keys to their children’s success in life. In a school with over 1,400 students, he was able to increase the parent participation by 50% within the PTO. He also raised funds through fundraisers and obtaining sponsorship. One of his greatest accomplishment in fund raising was a Cookie Dough sale were he raised $20,000. His biggest Sponsor was McDonald’s, there was incident were the store had been rob. Shawn organized a family night at the McDonald’s were the store recouped all the money that the robbers had took, the school in return received a plaque from McDonalds. 

With his success within the PTO, he gave the students their first “Fun Day”. The “Fun Day”” included food, rides, and games. This  allowed the students, faculty, and their families to come out for a day of fun. Shawn’s vision and ability to effectively communicate with individuals in the community will be a great asset to many more individuals. Shawn has successfully mentored, developed and promoted hundreds of youth during his Quest .He has a strong passion for working with individuals to help them develop their leadership skills and Maximize their full potential.
